Having enjoyed the Lakes Region area since 1985 where they spent summers and winter weekends on Lake Winnisquam.  The Ray family wanted to make the Lakes region a larger part of their lifestyle. They purchased the Weirs Beach Lobster Pound Restaurant property from long time acquaintances Lou Gaynor and Harvey Chernin.  Though they’ve made many new changes, their goal is to maintain the quality of food and service that has been the mainstay of the Lobster Pound for the past 35 years.

As you can imagine the remodeling of the restaurant, which began in October, requires an enormous amount of time and dedication to making sure that the end result will be of the highest quality and allow us to provide you with outstanding food and customer service.  Our website is in the process of being developed and we will be making changes and updating it for the next few weeks.  Please check back often as many fine things, will be added to the website.
